The purpose of The Basking Ridge Garden Club is to encourage the spirit of gardening, to urge the preservation of our trees, birds and wildflowers, to be environmentally aware, and to contribute to the beautification of our community.
We meet the first Monday of the month at 9:30am from September through May at the Somerset Hills Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall, 510 Mt. Airy Road, in Basking Ridge.
Please carpool and bring your own coffee mug to meetings - Think Green.

Conservation &Horticultural Tip of the Month
Hose and sprinklers: use early in the morning in the amount of 1 1/2 " of water per week. Raise the mower height to 2 1/2 and even 3" in the summer. This will encourage a thicker turf and, to some degree, lessen weed issues.
Harden off tender plants, and plant after the full moon of May
